Hi Bay and Patty,

Please, we are fine. To tell you, it was wonderful here last weekend. That's when we had our sportsday- the event was so wonderful! Children, teacher’s and parents participated in sports activities. We really had a good time with the parents.

The children were divided in four groups and each group is called a house. They were competing amongst those houses and parents had to take the houses of their children. I had bought a trophy which they were competing for. The winning house was taking the trophy as well as a bull for a barbeque. At the end of it, the green house was the winner.

On fourth of august, we are taking our children out for a study tour which is going to take us to different places. I am still planning of us to get the money mainly for transport. I am trying very hard so that we take a good number of children.

Our last teacher training workshop was very good and we benefited a lot. Mr. Kagga came along and made a follow up with the teachers. I think there is a remarkable improvement in the teacher's way of teaching. Otherwise, I thank you very much for these workshops- they have done a great job at our school.

Our poultry project is moving along well and I am going to send you some snaps. We built a chicken house behind the school. That's where we put the chicks. But they need a lot of attention. The teachers and the children do participate in the looking after of these chicks. In fact, so many children are benefiting from this because they are learning how to look after these hens. We encourage them to go back home and tell their parents to get them l0 chicks so they can start their own poultry project at home. This has not yet started because the children have not yet learnt properly how to look after chicks but I believe if they pick our idea it will be a great source of income as well as improving the children's health.

Beth's Mum was really grateful for the school sponsorship. I think next week I will be sending her thank you letter as well as some other information about their family. Please we love you and we pray for you.

With love from Harbert.
